 The Right Cause
All proceeds from the event benefit NASSP’s foundation, TREE, the Trust to Reach Education Excellence. Thanks to your support in 2000, TREE was able to offer more scholarships and grants to deserving, underprivileged students. Your participation does make a difference! If you can’t run or walk, we invite you to support TREE by purchasing the commemorative T-shirt as a souvenir of the NASSP Phoenix Convention.

Location/Course
- Downtown Course—Start and Finish at the Phoenix Civic Plaza
- USA Track and Field sanctioned and certified
- Mile markers and water stops
Lots of Awards and Surprises
- Awards ceremony at about 8:30 a.m.
- 1st overall male/female runners will receive a beautiful plaque (donated by Herff-Jones)
- Medals to top 3 male/female runners in each age division (donated by Herff-Jones)
- All participants will receive a certificate on parchment paper, suitable for framing
Fabulous Features
- A colorful, commemorative T-shirt for all participants
- A pair of running socks donated by Minnesota Life for all participants

Please note: The TREE 5K entry form and check must be mailed separately from your Convention Registration. It should not be included with your Convention registration.
Race Packet/T-Shirt Pick-Up
Race packets/information sheets/T-shirts will be available for pick up on Thursday, March 8 from 4:00–6:00 p.m., Friday March 9 from 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 10 from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. in the NASSP registration area at the Phoenix Civic Plaza—or you may pick them up at the event, starting at 6:30 a.m.
