What’s the difference between a good school and a great school? See firsthand what excellent schools are doing to ensure that every student achieves. Take advantage of this year’s school visits and learn how schools in and around San Antonio have gone the extra step to become high-performing schools, including implementing the basic tenets of Breaking Ranks II: Strategies for Leading High School Reform and Breaking Ranks in the Middle: Strategies for Leading Middle Level Reform. These outstanding schools will be selected because they offer sound educational programs and innovative practices that have proven successful, and they are opening their doors so you learn what has worked for them and what may work at your school.

School visits will take place on Thursday, February 21. Visitors will depart via buses from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at 8:00 a.m. and will return to the Convention Center at approximately 12:30 p.m.
