DCD School Assemblies (formally: The Power Team; as seen on TV on TBN) is comprised of a group of world class athletes. We travel nationally and internationally speaking to youth (high, middle, and elementary schools) on the subject of peer pressure; drugs; alcohol; tobacco; suicide; gang violence and abstinence. Our assemblies are very successful. We were named the #1 High School assembly in the country by the White House for four years in a row. Our assemblies are very unique. We combine feats of strength (i.e., ripping telephone books, blowing up hot-water bottles until they explode, snapping baseball bats, etc.). This is how we can gravitate their attention, after which we give a dynamic and impacting talk on the subjects above. We go to around 1500 public schools each year (with the Power Team). We were the only assembly that Columbine High school would have.
