This session is designed to provide attendees with a foundation for the need to develop transition programs to ease student transition into and out of the middle school. In addition, those who attend will be provided with examples of research-based programs that have been shown to ease students’ stress, reduce student failure, and lower dropout rates for students in transition. Audience participation will be encouraged.
