Staff developers, program supervisors, and principals in secondary programs can inspire teachers to integrate student-centered teaching practices while meeting the increased demands of new standards. The presenters will share field-tested strategies used with both preservice and inservice teachers and involve participants in a series of activities aimed at exploring theories of learning. Participants will also explore problems of implementing constructivist teaching approaches at the secondary level.
