103. Let’s Roll: Eight Essential Elements for Visionary Leadership

Change will come either by us or to us as we lead our schools. The difference between the level of the successes or failures we meet will be dependent on our conviction and momentum. This session will be a participatory exchange of ideas to help you to assess your strengths as well as give you goals to set for yourself professionally and personally as a leader in today’s culture. The principalship can be the quintessential position of influence in society today. Are we ready to meet the challenge?This presentation will give attendees the opportunity to explore and assess eight elements necessary for every leader to address in their life personally and professionally. They in include issues of authority, commitment to service, self-awareness, health, ambition, trust, priorities, and moral compass. Participants will walk away from this session with a tool to assess themselves as well as a took to use with faculty.
